Main Task
To coordinate, develop, mobilize and anchor recourses aiming to enhance
effective and equitable access of the knowledge generated from ICARDA's
participatory research (IPGs) to the agricultural rural communities in
the dry areas.

assistant grants and represented the institution in different meetings
and panels, etc. Acted as Senior Officer-in-Charge of the Technical
Advisory Division. Assisted the Director in monitoring the implementation
of divisional scorecards and in monitoring the preparation of professional
rolling work plan. Represented the Division in some in-house functions
such as Project Supervision Task Force, IT Task Force. Interacted
with all of the PMD regional divisions and other departments and
units, and contributed to the design, review and supervision of
many loans and grants implementation. Core member of the Task Force
that designed the new Project Development Cycle. Assisted in the
development of the corporate scorecards and contributed to the preparation
of IFAD's Poverty Report and the Strategic Framework for 2002-2006.
Represented IFAD in inter-agency, regional and international events

Steering Committees of Livestock, Environment and Development (LEAD),
Program Against African Trypanosomiasis (PAAT), Chair Program Advisory

Collaborative Support Program (SRCRSP) in Kenya, 1983-1985:
Responsible for the management and coordination of a program conducted

research institutions and universities, as well as budget and personnel
management. Technical core: nutrition and management of dairy goats.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of international development professionals
from five USA institutions and several professionals from the Kenyan
Veterinary Research Organization. Manager of the financial resources,
budgets and technical components of the multimillion US dollar program. |
Publications
More than 80 publications, including scientific articles, review and plenary
papers, expert consultations, workshops, seminars, etc. In addition, I
have presented many papers at several international professional meetings
in several parts of the world as keynote speaker, chairperson of sessions,
leader of working groups, and responsible for the analysis and synthesis
of the outcome and edited two books.
