below. Each concept note briefly describes the problem, objectives,
activities, beneficiaries and expected impact of the work. It also provides a tentative figure of the funding required and the proposed life of the project. An ICARDA code number follows the title of each project in the list. The Director General of ICARDA will be pleased to provide a fuller version of any of these projects that donors may identify to support.
