Sub-shrub: 50-150 cm in height, evergreen

Stem: many branched, branches ascending or erect, the old branches is brown, and easy to peel while in the cross section of the young branches is Square and the branches cover with hairs.

Leaves: 10-25 x 1-2(-4) mm., dark green, rugulose and pilose above, white-tomentose, beneath, sessile, leathery, linear, the leaf margin is bend, the upper surface of leaf is glabrous and the lower surface of leaf is hairy.

Peduncles: and pedicels white stellate-tomentose. Calyx 3-4.5 mm., divided to ½, white-tomentose, accrescent in fruit and becoming veined and glabrescent.

Corolla: pale blue and fragrant, 8-12 mm.,

Nutlets: brown
