Mr M. Hilali has been appointed as Director General of Direction de la Protection des Vegetaux, de Controles Techniques et de la Repression des Fraudes (DPVCTRF). He replaces Mr Mohamed Tourkmani who was the Director of the service for several years and a Country Representative of Morocco to the WANA Seed Network. Mr M. Tahiri becomes Head of Seed Certification. Mr Tahiri was formerly an Assistant Country Representative of Morocco to the WANA Seed Network.

The DPVCTRF is a regulatory agency for food and agriculture and in this context responsible for registration of new varieties in official catalogue and provide seed certification services through field inspection and laboratory analysis.
