ICARDA Board Discusses EPMR Report
Extraordinary meeting of the Board of Trustees in progress at the Center's headquarters
The Board of Trustees of ICARDA held an extraordinary meeting at the Center's headquarters in Aleppo on 18-19 August to discuss the recommendations of the Fifth External Program and Management Review (EPMR) and develop a joint Board and Management response. The Board reviewed a draft response that had been developed by the Center's management through extensive consultation, revised the draft to reflect the suggestions of its members, and finalized it for submission to the Science Council.

  

About ICARDA: Established in 1977, ICARDA (www.icarda.org) serves the entire developing world for the improvement of barley, lentil, and faba bean; and dry-area developing countries for the on-farm management of water, improvement of nutrition and productivity of small ruminants (sheep and goats), and rehabilitation and management of rangelands.
