Dr Majd Jamal is Director General of the
General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research (GCSAR), Syria,
as well as an Associate Professor at the College of Agriculture, University
of Damascus. He has worked as Director of the Syrian Directorate for Scientific
Agricultural Research (DSAR) and as a Cooperating Expert at the Arab Center
for the Studies of Arid Zones and Drylands (ACSAD). Dr Jamal's research
interests include pest control, economic entomology, and pesticide toxicology.
He is a member of the editorial board of the University of Damascus Journal
of Agricultural Sciences and is the National Coordinator of the GEF/UNDP-funded
Dryland Agrobiodiversity Project. |
