Dr Mustafa El Bouhssini Honored, Yet Again

Dr Mustafa El Bouhssini, Senior Entomologist at ICARDA, has won the International Plant Protection Award of Distinction from the International Association for the Plant Protection Sciences. The award will be presented during the International Plant Protection Congress in Scotland in October. The award notification reads, "You have made major contributions to the promotion of global plant protection and are most deserving of this recognition by your colleagues." Since he joined ICARDA in 1996, Dr El Bouhssini has won several awards. To mention only the most recent ones: 2006 CGIAR Award for Innovative Research Partnerships, 2005 ICARDA Outstanding Research Team (team leader), 2005 ICARDA Outstanding Scientific Article (co-author), 1998 ICARDA Scientist of the Year.
