- Potential for utilizing spineless cactus in range restoration and as supplementary forage crops (A. Osman, ICARDA-APRP)
- Cactus utilization as animal feed-Tunisian experience (S. Chouki)
- Omani experience with cactus cultivation (S. Nadaf, Forage agronomist, Agricultural Research and Extension, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Rumais, Sultanate of Oman)
- Practical field work on cactus propagation and management (S. Chouki)
